Great News! for all you folks that have been wondering what's really going on in the car business. I personally thought that the best person to talk to at our dealership was one of the finance managers. Chris Myer has been doing this for approximately 13 years. His relationship with the lenders goes deep. Seeing the swings go up and down throughout the years is nothing new.,says Chris. "In Billings we are somewhat immune to all of this." . People have been worried that they can't get a car loan. From what Chris says, people shouldn't buy into all of the media hype. He says that he's been able to get funding for the same types of people that he's always been able to get financed. Heck some of them don't even have credit, but if the deal is stuctured correctly, he'll get them financed. He did say that some of the banks that he uses do have some different requirements but that there shouldn't be any alarm or panic. Chris says the easiest thing to do is to just fill out a credit application and let him do his job. Chris also works with Mark Dundas our other finance dept. manager.
