Keep it Simple Pricing off to a quick start at our Billings Ford Dealership

Are you one of the online readers that's been waiting for the ultimate deal on a new vehicle? It seems like Ford has been coming out with all kinds of prices and programs month after month right? You seem confused as to what a good deal is right? I'll try to make this simple for you. Regardless of what Ford comes out with month after month, truth be it known, you are able to purchase your vehicle back of invoice. Remember the "Family Plan"? Now we have the "Keep it Simple Plan". Both plans allow you to purchase the vehicle back of invoice. There's no secret to it. Ford has decided to price everything the same and take the negotiation out of the deal. I know that there are quite a few people that are used to coming to the dealership, sitting down with their salesman they find out on the lot and do the back and forth shuffle. You are under the impression that this is the way to get the best price. Many of you even like doing it that way. I hate to break it to you, there's no negotiating left. The dealer actually has to get reimbursed from Ford to sell the vehicle at the "Keep it Simple Price". Yeah, I can hear you now. "Mike come on, the dealer has to make money or he's not in business long." You're right!
If I'm right, your probably wondering how the dealer makes money to pay his salespeople, pay for television ads, pay his office staff and so on right? Many of you already know that there is some dealer holdback that comes form the Factory. As you know, it's 3%. Not too much is it?
That 3% has to pay for everything, dealer insurance, ads in the local paper, employees salary etc. . I can go on and on.. I'll spare you all the details. Anyhow, there are quite a number of people wondering how all of this works. Nobody wants to get ripped off (nor should they)... I'm providing this information to you because you (the consumer) needs to know what's going on. Don't listen to the guy down the street that tells you one thing because he hear it from someone else. Everything I've told you is the truth. Archies has been in business for over 60 years and we plan on being around much longer. We have the service facility to take care of you from the time you purchase your vehicle from us to the time you bring it back for a new one. You can bet that we'll be here too.

If any of you have any questions regarding all these special programs, either stop by the Fleet and Internet Center at Archie Cochrane Ford, or just e-mail me personally. I'd be happy to explain what's going on.

It's a great time to buy your next Ford. Better yet, the lease specials that Ford has come out with are really well put together. I personally am leasing a new F150 (What the Salesperson knows) and I can't be happier with my truck. Have you looked at the new F-150's lately?

SOME QUESTIONS I'D LIKE TO ASK YOU? I'd love for you to respond if you have any comments:

1. Why would anyone buy from someone that they don't know very well? For instance, there are always little dealerships that pop up. They are what I call fly-by-night outfits. They don't have the service facility to take care of you, nor do they want to. Is it price?

2. What's the most important thing to you in buying a vehicle?
3. What do you really hate about most car dealerships?
4. How would you like to purchase a vehicle? Do you like the traditional methods? Would you like one salesman that can do everything from start to finish?
5. What makes you trust a salesperson? I know there are quite a few slimey salespeole out there. What kind of person is it that would allow you to trust them?
6. Would you like to see more women in the auto sales positions?
7. What do you look at when you want to trade your vehicle? Most people always know what they think their vehicle is worth. What do you look at?
8. How important is it to you that a dealership has a website or several websites?

I'd greatly appreciate some feedback

Sincerely,

Mike Weiland
