It's Official, Archies Earns Fords Top Honor

The Ford Motor Company President's Award is bestowed on those Dealerships demonstrating the highest degree of customer satisfaction, that provide a superior experience in Sales, Service and overall ownership. What's profound about this pinnacle recognition of automotive retailing is that your customers make the selections.
For 2007, the prestige and allure of the President's Award continues. Only those Ford, Lincoln and Mercury Dealerships that attain the top-most levels of excellence will be recognized — a distinction that represents the convergence of positive attitude, ethics and results from everyone in the organization.
The President's Award for automotive retailing excellence can only be achieved by those who reach beyond daily tasks and make a difference to their customers — it's time to astound yourself.
Requirements:
The following information provides an explanation of the rules and eligibility requirements for the 2007 President's Award.
All eligible Ford and Lincoln Mercury Dealerships must have a franchise date prior to January 1, 2007.
Qualifying Dealerships must receive a minimum of 75 completed Customer Viewpoint surveys, including Sales and Service, during the program period of January through December 2007.
To be eligible for recognition sponsored by Ford Motor Company, the Dealership must be a franchised Ford or Lincoln Mercury Dealership at the time the award is presented.
Dealers must maintain good standing with Ford Motor Company. Performance integrity may be reviewed to ensure fairness to all Dealers. Any irregularities could lead to disqualification.
Criteria:
Those who meet the following criteria in the categories of Customer Satisfaction, Market Share and Blue Oval Certification or Lincoln Mercury Elite Certification will earn the coveted 2007 President's Award.
The 2007 President's Award will be awarded to the Dealers who achieve the highest levels of performance in the Voice-of-the-Customer Index in each of their Regional Customer Viewpoint Groups.
Each Regional Customer Viewpoint Group will be allotted a predetermined number of potential winners based on that Customer Viewpoint Group's 2006 retail sales volumes
Based on the size of the Customer Viewpoint Group, each group will have at least one winner
President's Award eligibility is based on achievement of the following criteria:
Be Blue Oval Certified or Lincoln Mercury Elite Certified on December 31, 2007. Blue Oval Certification or Lincoln Mercury Elite Certification are considered the most important requirements for the 2007 President's Award Program
Achieve an 85% or higher Regional or multiple-point average for both car and truck market share (excluding pump-ins) for the period between January 1 and October 31, 2007
Receive a minimum of 75 completed Customer Viewpoint Surveys, including Sales and Service, during the program period of January through December 2007. (If the exclusion of the 6.0L diesel sales and service surveys makes a Dealer ineligible due to insufficient surveys, they will be eligible as long as 75 surveys are returned before the filtering/exclusion of surveys occurred.
Blue Oval Certification
Dealerships must be Blue Oval Certified in the 2007 MY program based upon the Blue Oval Headquarters status report dated December 31, 2007. Dealerships that have not successfully completed Blue Oval Certification will not be eligible for the program.
Voice-of-Customer Index
Dealerships must be ranked among top performers in their Customer Viewpoint groups. The Components that make up the Voice-of-Customer index are:
Sales Survey Q1: Overall Sales Satisfaction
Sales Survey Q7: Recommend Dealer for Sales
Service Survey Q1:Overall Service Satisfaction
Service Survey Q7: Recommend Dealer for Service
Example: If the Dealer's group has been allocated two winning positions, the winning Dealers must achieve all of the award criteria and be ranked within the top two positions in the group.
Note: The Voice-of-the-Customer (VOC) Index for President's Award will differ from the VOC Index for Blue Oval Certification and Lincoln Mercury Elite Certification because the President's Award considers only 2007 performance, while Blue Oval Certification and Lincoln Mercury Elite Certification use a 12-month rolling average.
